Symptoms of a dying DOCSIS 3.0 Technicolor TC4350 cable modem?

I pay for 150 Mbps internet service and I'm getting very inconsistent results at speedtest.net, only getting between 11 and 24 Mbps down. My upload is sometimes higher than the download which is uncommon for home services and not what I'm paying for.

Here's some screenshots from speed test runs including a screenshot of the monitoring graph from my OpenWRT router. Notice the strange drop off in the middle of the test run.

A major sign that points me toward a bad cable modem rather than problematic lines from the ISP is: earlier this morning, I lost internet -only power, link, and DS light (flashing) were lit- and I tried unplugging/re-plugging the barrel connector to power on the back of the modem to no avail... same indicator lights, no internet. This was with a 2-4 minute cooldown period.

Then I tried unplugging the modem barrel connector and letting it cool down for 30 minutes to ambient temperature; it didn't turn back on at all (no lights) when I plugged the barrel connector back in. My ISP suggested I try a different power strip. Strangely, with the barrel connector untouched, I plugged the 3-prong mains end into a different outlet and the modem turned back on and it brought the internet back up. Power cycling it again by swapping to the original outlet did not make it fail again; that is, it operates normal with lights and working internet.
However, I'm still thinking the modem is going bad as the speed tests shown above, which I ran after all this power cycling business, indicate strange behaviour and failure to reach quoted service speeds.

This is an inopportune time for my cable modem to have issues as I need reliable internet to run my new Woocommerce/Wordpress-based website at https://capitalindustriesmarketplace.com/shop/

Anyone else experience similar issues with their modem?
